Porter and Vienna (post surgery) - December 1, 2005
Vienna had surgery to remove entropion from both eyes. Entropion is a common
hereditary disorder in many types of dog, including, I suppose, Golden Retriever.
She had the surgery on Tuesday, November 29. This is two days later, and she
has to wear a cone for two weeks! Poor thing.

Porter, a month away from turning two! She's a cat reincarnated, as she loves sitting on top of the couch.

Porter ensures Vienna is no threat to her tug toy.

Porter, although she looks like she will roll off, will not.

Vienna (off to left) has tried to sneak to steal the toy, which raises a growl and snarl from Porter

Porter looks concerned about Vienna's approach.

POOTER!

Poots again, looking away.

How attentive Pooter can be when I ask if she's hungry!

Porter's drunk moment, captured on film.

Sisters. Vienna's laughing at Porter for reasons only known to Vienna.

Aww, a pretty picture of the two pups.

Vienna, up close. Her eye area had to be shaved; it's stained from her tears due to the entropion.

Almost looking like a Lab, Vienna gets excited by the camera.

Two days after surgery, Vienna's eyes already look better. Swelling's down. She has two sets of stitches under each eye.

Close up of the goopy wet mess!

Side view of Nen's eye.

Vienna loves her big sister!
